Bali's wet season runs from October to March, with January and February being the wettest months. However, rain in Bali usually comes in short intense afternoon showers — mornings are often sunny. April to September is the dry season and best for beach holidays. If you visit during wet season, expect lower prices and fewer tourists — many travellers enjoy Bali year-round.

We use OpenWeatherMap's professional API which provides live weather data updated every 10 minutes. Accuracy is typically within 1–2°C for temperature and reliable for general conditions. For planning purposes, live data is most useful for your actual travel dates. For trip planning months ahead, use our monthly climate averages which are based on historical data.

June is excellent for: Europe (warm and long days — Paris, Rome, Barcelona, Amsterdam), Central Asia (Georgia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan — ideal temperatures), Iceland (midnight sun season), Japan (post-rainy season in July but June has cherry blossoms in Hokkaido), and UAE (off-season with lower prices, though very hot). Avoid: Southeast Asia in June (monsoon season for most destinations), Bali (wet season).

March in Japan is transitional — cold in the north (Hokkaido, Tohoku) and mild in the south (Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto). Late March sees cherry blossoms. Pack: medium-weight jacket or coat, layering pieces (mornings are cold ~5–12°C), comfortable walking shoes, compact umbrella (spring showers are common), smart-casual clothes for temples and restaurants. Cherry blossom season brings crowds — book hotels very early.

Dubai in summer is extremely hot — temperatures reach 42–45°C with very high humidity. Most outdoor activities are impossible in the afternoon. However, indoor attractions (malls, museums, indoor ski slope) are pleasant as everything is heavily air-conditioned. Hotel prices drop 40–60% in summer making it very affordable. Good for shopping, indoor experiences and short layovers. Not recommended for sightseeing or outdoor tourism.

Weather has no direct effect on visa-on-arrival eligibility — your Indian passport determines visa access, not the weather. However, weather affects your trip experience significantly. Thailand (VoA) is best in Nov–Feb; Maldives (VoA) is good year-round; Indonesia/Bali (VoA) best Apr–Sep; Jordan (VoA) best Mar–May and Sep–Nov.
